Hi! I’m Steph Totoritis (shortened to Toto for simplicity’s sake). I’m an NYC-based photographer who has been looking for an excuse to bring a camera everywhere since age 9.

I started with my grandpa’s point-and-shoot, graduated to a Canon DSLR in middle school, shot yearbook in high school, assisted wedding photographers, and eventually turned my habit of photographing everyone I knew into my literal dream job.

Originally from San Diego, I moved to Manhattan for NYU (+ the seasons) and ended up working on a million weddings and cool events at The Plaza Hotel, Waldorf Astoria, Vox Media, and Sony. From there, I spent four years at Shake Shack managing social, concepting brand creative, and art directing on-set at shoots, before becoming Brand Marketing Director at influencer-founded brands Cupcakes & Cashmere and its sister scent brand, Lavune.

Basically, I’ve spent my career telling stories, and my favorite way to tell them has always been through a camera. After having the privilege to photograph engagements and intimate elopements for friends, it clicked. This is what I want to photograph most: people at their happiest.

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m probably walking my dog Rigatoni, sweating in a Pilates class, hitting golf balls with my fiancé, planning my next trip abroad, or convincing friends that one more martini is a good idea.
