Kearney and Joe’s engagement shoot took place on one of the coldest days of the year. So cold (literally 10 degrees in the sun), we almost rescheduled. After debating over text and frantically checking the weather the days and hours before, Kearney and Joe decided they were still down to shoot, so we bundled up and moved forward with our planned photo walk.

We started with a few shots on the stoop of Kearney and Joe’s home in Carroll Gardens then walked over to a charming nearby park. When it got to the point where our fingers were numb, we headed over to one of K + J’s favorite neighborhood bars, Brooklyn Social, for a pint. I ended up snapping one of my favorite photos of the day at a little corner table illuminated with a small stream of natural light.

While the temperature limited how long we were able to shoot outside, we still captured an album full of amazing shots in just a little over an hour. Here are some of my favorites.
